The Rams traded up to No. 39, sending the Carolina Panthers Nos. 52, 155 and a 2025 second-rounder — and Fiske was selected right as Verse arrived at the Rams’ draft house in Hermosa Beach, Calif. Service is great most nights, the food is good, pool cues could use some upkeep, my mother is a huge fan of the half rack bbq ribs. And my favorite bartender sure works her butt off to keep me supplied with beer, and sweet tea for Mom.

Haven't had a bad experience here, and I visit 2 to 3 times a week. Iowa defensive back Cooper Dejean was also selected around this pick point, but Fiske was the Rams’ top target entering the second day — hence the trade. The Los Angeles Rams selected Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske with the No. 39 pick in Friday’s second round of the NFL Draft after a trade with the Panthers. Went tonight for dinner and this has to be worst experience there - EVER.
After transferring from Western Michigan to Florida State, Fiske finished with nine tackles for loss and six sacks for the Seminoles and impressed everyone with his intensity. Fiske (6-3 ½, 292) won’t wow anyone with his physical abilities at this level, but his work ethic and toughness will garner immediate respect. In 1924 due to her close relationship with the Seminoles, the federal government would seek out Ivy and ask for assistance in persuading the tribe to move to the reservation. Plus, it has a soft finish that makes it easy to blend into your cheeks to avoid the usual stark, muddy contour line you might get. Plus, the slim stick makes swiping and placing product an easy task, so you’re less likely to experience any mishaps — an added bonus for contouring beginners. While many contour sticks are better blended with a tool, we recommend using your fingers (especially when blending the highlighter side since it isn’t very pigmented) for a more refined finish. According to Los Angeles-based makeup artist Rachel OCool, the rich cool tones and matte finish of all nine shades also make these fantastic for creating the most natural shadows on your face.

Make sure you apply a makeup primer and setting spray when using this pick. Another thing to consider is that this product only comes in three shades, so finding your perfect match might be difficult. With a luxurious formula and fancy packaging comes a high price tag — at $48 per stick, the Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Stick is not cheap. What we love about this splurge is that it’s super creamy, blends into the skin perfectly, and has a clean formula that won’t irritate your skin. The formula is free of sulfates, phthalates, and parabens, and melts into the skin really beautifully.

According to Los Angeles-based makeup artist Robin Black, contouring the face with makeup is a technique that creates the appearance of depth and shadow in specific areas of the face. "You can emphasize features, make them appear smaller or larger, and even create the illusion of a totally different facial structure," she says. However, many makeup artists will use both formulas together to lock their makeup in for the day. “All reality TV stars are contoured to perfection using creams and then layering powder on top,” says makeup artist and content creator Aditya Madiraju. Fyi, I also like to set this with a little translucent powder so it lasts all day. I don’t prefer one over the other, both tools work really well with the Contour Wand. As I said, I used the shade Light-Medium, and in my opinion, one layer wouldn’t be enough for medium skin tones, but since the formula is very buildable, I think a total of 2 to 3 layers would do the trick. While both cream and powder products work well with mature skin, certain formulas work harder to smooth over fine lines and wrinkles. Madiraju calls the Danessa Myricks Groundwork Palette (powder) and Fenty Beauty Match Stix (cream) “go-to’s” for mature skin in his makeup collection.

“It’s kind of a two-in-one because the formula is a liquid, the shades are pretty universal, and it creates a more natural effect,” she says. She suggests applying it on your cheekbones, jawline, forehead, and down the nose to simultaneously warm up your complexion and simulate shadows. If you’re a complete newbie to contouring, you probably won’t want to spend a fortune on a contour stick. Luckily, the Nyx Wonder Stick isn’t just affordable, it’s also a great beginner product to learn contouring basics. The dual-ended stick features a creamy contour on one end to add dimension, and a complementary shimmer highlighter on the other to add a glow to the high points of your face. “I prefer to use a color that’s rich and warm but not too yellow/orange,” she explains. She also warns against contours that are too cool/grey, as they can leave a grey cast and make the skin appear dull. The creamy formulas were easy to blend, working well with sponges and brushes but blending best with fingers. Each swipe glided smoothly onto our tester’s skin without clinging to dry spots or accentuating fine lines. However, the lighter “concealer” shades ended up settling into the creases of her eyelids.

Just an extra sweep of the deepest shade switched up the look from natural daytime to a dramatic sculpt for a night out. The shade our tester tried was perfect for her skin tone, mimicking the look of a shadow rather than leaning muddy or orange. Though it dried down fast, it was incredibly easy to blend out and build if you worked quickly, whether with fingers, a sponge, or a brush. The concept of contouring might look scary on social media, but it’s actually a lot easier than you might think — especially when you have the proper products and tools.
For $9, we were wholly impressed with the beautiful, blendable, and buildable results of the e.l.f. Cream Contour Kit. Each buttery pan applied beautifully with a brush, delivering a naturally sculpted look with a few light strokes and a deeper, more dramatic effect with a heavier hand. For some skin tones, a cool-toned contour stick might look v muddy on your skin. Each shade has a subtle warm undertone that’ll sculpt your cheekbones, jawline, nose, wherever, without making you look ashy.
Many shades can be worn as either a highlighter or blush, each blending effortlessly into skin. The wands are formulated with hydrating glycerin and smoothing silica to keep the skin looking and feeling its healthiest, per the brand. In the video, Tilbury says that no other beauty product compares to the “dreamy, fresh, glass-like, candlelight skin” effect of the wands. For your drugstore pick, the Maybelline New York Master Contour V-Shade Duo Stick rings up at only $7 and has your contour and highlight needs covered in one product. This two-in-one stick features a creamy contour and highlighter to enhance and define with ease. New York City-based makeup artist Blair Petty loves using the Westman Atelier Face Trace Stick because of its ease of use and how seamlessly it blends into the skin.
Though this Danessa Myricks palette touts a higher price tag than your average contour kit, it does so much more than contour and highlight. Rather than separate contours and highlights, each pan holds a buildable finishing powder that can be applied in layers to sculpt your face or intensify your glow. Each shade was easily diffusible yet buildable, didn’t cling to dry spots, and didn’t amplify imperfections.
The Historic Stranahan House Museum recently kicked off the New Year with its sixth annual Holiday Hangover celebration, which raised more than $14,000 for Broward County's oldest and most historic home. The funds generated from the sold-out event will help preserve the House and support educational outreach programs throughout 2020. Built in 1901, the Historic Stranahan House Museum is the oldest structure still present in the area. It was designed and built by Frank Stranahan, considered the founding father of the city. Overall, my visit to the Historic Stranahan House Museum was a memorable experience. The museum offers a unique blend of history, architecture, and culture that you won't find elsewhere.

Renamed Fort Lauderdale after the army forts that had been built during the Seminole Wars, the area was incorporated in 1911. With this new name Frank would end up selling the trading company in 1912 to focus on real estate and banking while Ivy would become president of the Florida Equal Suffrage Association in 1916.
Eighteen-year-old Ivy Julia Cromartie of Lemon city (what is now Little Haiti) was hired at $48 a month for the job. Community members built the one-room schoolhouse for Ivy and her nine students. Frank and Ivy would come to know one another during the five months Ivy lived and taught at the settlement. They would marry on August 16, 1900, at her family home, and as was customary for married women at the time, Ivy gave up her paid position. Though she gave up her paid position she did not, however, give up her teaching aspirations. She instead turned her attention to the Seminole children, offering informal lessons at the trading post that respected the Tribe's traditions.

He would quickly establish his own trading business with the Seminole Indians and gain the reputation of being a fair business man. Arriving via dugout canoes, large groups of Seminole families would camp at the post for days at a time. Eventually, in 1894 Frank would acquire ten acres of land for his own commercial interests and would move the trading post farther west along the river. This property became the focal point of the tiny New River settlement, of which Stranahan was now its postmaster.
They offer guided tours, which I highly recommend as a way to learn about the area. And they offer three tours a day, so if you miss the first one, don’t worry—you can catch the next one. The current campaign will finance several construction projects, including a classroom for field trips and community gatherings and restoration of the 1,300-square-foot wooden front porch, which has suffered from wear and tear as visitors come and go from the main house. A welcome center with a gift shop and museum ticket window also is planned, as well as a catering kitchen and covered event pavilion to accommodate weddings, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and other receptions. The two-story wooden home, built in 1901, was Fort Lauderdale’s very first structure. Elf has released the Halo Glow Liquid Filter to provide a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter. Finally, you can apply it on top of makeup as a liquid highlighter. This is an innovative technology that helps you achieve glass skin. It doesn’t feel like wearing anything on the skin, and doesn’t dry skin out or settle into creases.

The very best Charlotte Tilbury dupes, starting from just £7.
This Charlotte Tilbury dupe minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines, ensuring a smooth, luminous finish without any cakiness. This fan-favorite lipstick comes in 24 shades, featuring a creamy, hydrating formula that glides on smoothly for full coverage in just one swipe. This Maybelline dupe takes the cake for being a primer, concealer, highlighter, and BB cream in one. The self-adjusting claim might sound like magic, but many users find it lives up to the hype. And personally, I’m a huge fan of the applicator over the Charlotte Tilbury one.

But if you’ll always wear it as a primer under foundation, there’s no reason to spend more than twice the price on it. E.l.f’s halo glow is almost indistinguishable in terms of packaging, texture, feel and skin benefits; it’s a near flawless dupe. E.L.F. Cosmetics proves that notion to us all the time with its consistent A+ products. Last week, the affordable cosmetic brand launched the Halo Glow Beauty Wands ($9), which appear to be dupes of the cult-favorite Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wands ($42).

At first glance, both products are there to replicate the effects of soap, which means that opting for a cheaper option won’t likely make that much of a difference to your at-home lamination. When it comes to foolproof beauty dupes, they can be difficult to find, but when you turn into Indiana Jones and find the holy grail, there’s no going back. If you purchase several of these Charlotte Tilbury dupes like I did, you could potentially save hundreds of dollars on your makeup routine. Though ideal for dry and dull skin types, those with oily skin might find this richly textured cream a little too heavy.
INVISIBLE UV FLAWLESS PRIMERSPF 50
We tried both products with the same skincare and make-up routine – liquid foundation and cream bronzer, blush and highlight – to make sure they were given an equal chance, and wore them alone and under foundation. While testing, we were looking at packaging, application experience, skincare benefits and finish. This blush is somehow both super pigmented, and blends into your skin seamlessly for a natural glowy finish— which is why people love it!
When I say coverage, at weekends, for example if I’m not going anywhere, I will just shove this on if I’m sashaying down to be glamorous in Aldi. Otherwise I wear Armani underneath and then this is a kind of highlighter. Only bought a small Charlotte tilbury one and was glad I hadn’t wasted more money. “Now the only difference that I found is that IT has SPF 50 and ELF has SPF 30. And also the IT is a little bit more glowy and illuminating.
Best Dupe for for Warm Skin Tones
Nourishing ingredients in the skin illuminator, like squalane and hyaluronic acid, give you a healthy glow and lock in moisture for long-lasting radiance. Thankfully, e.l.f. Cosmetics has created several spot-on dupes that work just as well for a fraction of the price—plus, all of its products are vegan and cruelty-free. Charlotte Tilbury Medium (4) is a very warm-toned, light gold with a luminous finish. It is a permanent primer that retails for $44.00 and contains 1 oz. And last but not least, Mia finished by sharing two primer dupes. "The Revolution Hydra Blight Blush Wands are great alternatives to Charlotte Tilbury’s £30 wands.
I just squeeze a dime-size dollop on the back of my hand and blend it with a sponge all over my face before foundation or concealer. It leaves me with a dewy, reflective finish wherever I blend, and it also doesn’t settle into lines or highlight my skin texture. As a standalone highlighter, this shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours. Plenty of drugstore brands, like e.l.f. Cosmetics (the Halo Glow Liquid filter is everything) and Maybelline carry a range of top-rated beauty items that work similarly to the TikTok viral Charlotte Tilbury products.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand
It’s not pigmented enough for us to describe it as having coverage, but its blurring, light-reflecting properties make skin tone look more even. As far as dupes go, E.l.f Cosmetics’ take on NARS cult-favourite Laguna bronzer isn’t an exact match, but hey, if you’re looking to save some coins, it’s a very close counterpart. While E.l.f Cosmetics’ offering is a touch on the lighter side, NARS’ Laguna also has a slight shimmer built into the formula.
Finally, the Halo Glow Liquid Filter can also be used as a liquid highlighter. You can dab extra product on the high points of the face like the cheeks, temples, nose, and cupid’s bow for a glass-skin finish. Both products are vegan, cruelty-free and have plenty of glowing (pun intended) reviews to back them up. But if you’ve been looking for an affordable alternative, save yourself some money and add e.l.f.’s Halo Glow Liquid Filter to your online cart ASAP.
If you’re using it as a primer below foundation, particularly if you have oily skin, you might benefit from using a mattifying primer beneath it; it doesn’t do much to help make-up stay put. If you’re a fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup magic but hesitant about the price tags, you’re in the right place. Hi, I’m Hollie, and I’m passionate about everything beauty. Over the last decade and a half, I’ve tested thousands of products to bring you the best of the best! Are Media acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. All products are independently selected, tested or recommended by our team of experts.
No, it’s definitely still not a foundation, but it can help even out your skin tone while giving you a natural-looking highlight at the same time. Charlotte Tilbury Medium (4) Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44.00 for 30.00 oz.) is a light-medium beige with warm, golden undertones and a luminous sheen. This was the least warm-toned shade that I've swatched within the formula, so I could see it being more versatile across undertones as a result. The doe-foot applicator made getting just a touch out easier for highlighting the high points of the face, though it was less useful for getting product for mixing in. Dries down to an opaque waterproof finish very quickly, which means you need to get it right the first time. Not buildable because it’s impossible to add a second coat once it dries.
Although I like to use the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter under makeup, I would never call it a true makeup primer (too slippery to hold onto your makeup). But if you do want a strong glow under your foundation—one that will also keep your makeup from sliding around—try this serum primer from Danessa Myricks. It has a grippy, almost tacky texture that keeps your foundation from creasing and slipping, while also giving your skin a major glassy radiance. We may earn commission from links on this page, but we only recommend products we love.
A clear dupe of Tatcha’s $78 fan-favourite primer, E.l.f. Cosmetics’ Poreless Putty has skyrocketed as a certified must-have for beauty lovers on a budget. Aside from the almost-identical packaging, both products look and feel eerily similar, their lasting effects are remarkably alike and there’s a $60 price difference between them. If you’re trying to save your coins but still want to try an applaud-worthy primer, opt for E.l.f. Cosmetics’. I considered gatekeeping this drugstore formula because it’s the closest Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter dupe I’ve found, and it’s seriously underrated.

Kanye West’s porn will be ‘like nothing we’ve ever seen’ promises adult entertainment mogul
The former Playboy model claims to have had an affair that started in 2006 and that she and Trump had sex "many dozens of times". Since deepfake technology first emerged in December 2017, it has consistently been used to create nonconsensual sexual images of women—swapping their faces into pornographic videos or allowing new “nude” images to be generated. As the technology has improved and become easier to access, hundreds of websites and apps have been created. Most recently, schoolchildren have been caught creating nudes of classmates. Nonconsensual deepfake pornography websites and apps that “strip” clothes off of photos have been growing at an alarming rate—causing untold harm to the thousands of women they are used to target. Trump is currently on trial, of course, for having paid adult film star Stormy Daniels and Playmate Karen McDougal hush money to stay quiet about alleged affairs before the 2016 election.

Trump, originally from Queen's in New York, is being tried on home turf. However, the jury pool, from which its members were selected, doesn't sit well with his politics.

The other website, which also has an app, displays a similar message. “Access to the service in your country is blocked,” it says, before hinting there may be ways to get around the geographic restriction. Some fans questioned whether West still professed Jesus and religion as he once did, while others compared his past spiritual projects like his "Jesus is King" album with his plans to foray into the XXX industry. He wrote, "It's officially been a week since I let my wife do a porn with another guy. I felt a little jealous at first but overall it wasn't that big a deal." He said, "I would assume that probably Kanye would not want to be dealing with the bulls--t that comes with your wife doing porn."

Fans Are Displeased With Kanye West's 'Yeezy Porn' Plans
But I do have to begin by wishing Melani happy birthday, she’s in Florida. I’ll be going there this evening after this case finishes out with this horrible, unconstitutional case, when it finishes. Ajder adds that search engines and hosting providers around the world should be doing more to limit the spread and creation of harmful deepfakes.
The "Power" rapper took to his X account on Wednesday evening to share not-so-cryptic footage, which had the writing "Yeezy Porn is Cumming." The YouTuber's advice to West comes from experience after fans blasted him for allowing his wife to film a porn scene with another man last year. Although Adam welcomed the idea, insisting the "Vultures 1" rapper would spice things up in the industry thanks to his creativity, he objected to him allowing his wife to have sex on camera. Now, YouTuber Adam Grandmaison, more commonly known as Adam22, has advised West to keep Censori away from his planned adult content, going on to share that he expects the rapper to cause some positive changes in the industry. Since the start of the trial, prosecutors say Trump has racked up more than a dozen violations of his gag order, which prohibits him from speaking on trial participants outside the courtroom. It's the description used by Trump of the witness at the centre of the prosecution (see M).
Although, it sounds like he might just be joshing (hopefully). Trump is accused of cooking up the plan to influence the election at a 2015 meeting with Cohen and Pecker. Trump said he would be jetting off to Florida on Friday evening to join Melania, who is celebrating her 54th birthday.
The surprising plans from Kanye West to launch a porn studio have been confirmed by a huge mogul in the adult entertainment industry. This week, politicians in the UK announced plans for a law that criminalizes the creation of nonconsensual deepfakes. Clare McGlynn, a professor of law at Durham University, says the move is a “hugely significant moment” in the fight against deepfake abuse. “This ends the easy access and the normalization of deepfake sexual abuse material,” McGlynn tells WIRED.
